h2 quartet

The h2 quartet's third commercial release, entitled Groove Machine, is finally available for purchase!  For now, you may contact the group directly at h2quartet@gmail.com to obtain the recording.  The CD will be available soon through the usual online stores (amazon, itunes, etc.), or through blue griffin records. The wait is over!

h2 has a lot of very exciting projects in the works for this summer, including commissions from a few great composers. We are very excited to have Drew Baker, Daniel Wohl, and Karl Blench writing pieces for us that we will premiere in Europe during June and July.

h2 will also be spending time at the Cortona Sessions for New Music in Cortona, Italy. For information on how to apply for the festival as a composer, performer, auditor, or groupie, please visit www.cortonasessions.com.

The h2 quartet has recently formed a non-profit, a 501(c)(3) organization called h2 quartet, inc. Expect information on the website very soon regarding our organization, commissioning projects, etc.!
